Well, I still managed to have a loss this week- .8. I'm not sure how it happened, because this was with-a-doubt the worst week for me since I started. But I still lost... and got my 15-pound star!
I'm recommitted again... starting tomorrow (today was another VERY bad day)!

Another Hot Date...
The geek and I had another date night tonight. Twice in one week! We were lucky enough to find a girl who can do respite for us one night a week. Respite is basically the same as babysitting except she is trained to watch kids with special needs (and she is paid by an agency instead of us!). We went to Okoboji Grill for supper and shopping for shoes. Not very romantic, but much easier without the kids along!

Weekly Weigh-In
Only lost .2 last week. It's better than gaining I guess!
Also, I have my mother to blame if I post a gain next weekend. I DID NOT stay within my points during her visit. She is a very bad influence (although I didn't need much persuading to eat the pizza... or the cinnamon rolls)!
Huh? What? I Can't Hear You...
It has officially happened... I am old and now partially deaf. The geek and I went to see Daughtry and Bon Jovi last night. Now, the concert was great (Chris and Jon... so cute). However, most of the time I was thinking to myself, "Does the music need to be this loud?" I was also wondering if the teenage girls in front of us could sit down for a while so I could sit down (admittedly, I didn't wear the most comfortable shoes). And at about 10:30 I was wishing I had taken a nap, because I was seriously tired and yawning. We stayed until the last song but left before the encore(s) to avoid the traffic... yes, we are officially old.
On a good note, we left the kids with a babysitter for the first time EVER. They were both asleep by 8:30 and had a great time! And we only called home ONCE to check on them!

Potty Updates...
So far, DD has pottied twice at school and once at home. We put up some "Dora" decorations in the bathroom today... with the hopes they would motivate her to sit there for a while. She seems to like them!
We've given up on DS for now... one kid at a time!
Update: We're all sick right now (even me... though I'm really too busy to be sick, so I'm not really admitting it)... it might be a day to two before I post again.

Flashback...
Because I haven't posted any pics of the kids lately... here's one from when they were just wee little ones! Hard to believe they are both over 30 pounds now. Someone asked us over the weekend if DS was 4-years old... um, no- he's only 2!
Also, I'm going to try to figure out if I can post a video on here... DS was laughing hysterically the other day and we caught it on tape. I know the grandparents would love it!

Bad Blogger...
Sorry it has been so long since I wrote a good post... or any pictures. Things have been so hectic around here- lots of therapies and a bit of sickness going around.
I meant to do a really nice post yesterday in honor of World Autism Awareness Day... but life got in the way!
Also, most of you (family/friends at least) should have gotten an email yesterday with info on this year's autism walk! Hopefully many of you will be joining our team... and helping us reach our $2,000.00 goal.
I'll post again soon- promise!
