And now you know why our dining room chairs are always ON the table. This is what happens when we leave one down...
Also, notice my "office/sewing area" behind the table. It's not ideal to have these shelves in the dining room- definitely not something you'll see in a decorating magazine. But it really works for me. I have all my sewing stuff there along with all the kids files and bills. The geek was able to move all of his stuff downstairs into my former sewing closet... now his stuff is hidden (as it should be!).
